The elderly have not used the internet for thousands of years, but the recent survey shows that older people are getting closer than ever.
Indeed, more than 70% of internet users over the age of 65 are using the world wide web daily. In addition, the baby boomers born between 1946 and 1964 spend about 27 hours online every week.
Several Higher Educated Senior Groups, especially young people, report ownership and use of multiple Internet-enabled devices. Interestingly, the majority of elderly people (about 75%) are using the internet to communicate with friends and family.
