Do Executives and Cybersecurity Pros Agree on Today’s Biggest Cyber Threats? [Infographic]

Violations have cost the company billions of dollars, eroding trust and having a long-term negative impact on the company's brand. With so many shares, we want to know: In terms of network security, are C-Suite executives consistent with their security and IT professionals? Company executives share common concerns with their security team. When asked about the top three cybersecurity issues facing their organizations, both teams ranked data loss and data theft/leakage as the two most important issues.

However, these two groups differed in naming their third major issue. Cybersecurity / IT professionals focus on ransomware like WannaCry in 2017, which has estimated the organization's losses to reach $4 billion. The C-Suite team is concerned with the risks of data changes - disruptive behavior by changing key information such as the code of automated assembly lines.
