The Personal-Professional Boundaries In The Modern Workforce [Infographic]

Holivet Nazarene University surveyed 3,000 people with 14 different familiarities to better understand the individual-career boundaries of the modern workforce. The study looks at how men and women have different connections with managers.
According to the study, the most common connection points are very conversational. About 68% of male and female employees own the boss's personal phone number, making it the number one indicator of familiarity. After exchanging numbers, one-third of the respondents said they felt comfortable and could ask the boss about personal issues (29%). The same percentage (29%) means that their boss came to them to seek advice on personal issues.
