The term deep-sea creature refers to living organisms living under the ocean light zone. These creatures must survive under extremely harsh conditions, such as tens of barometric pressure, a small amount of oxygen, very little food, no sunlight, and persistent extreme cold. Most creatures must rely on food floating from above.
