Natural disasters - such as Hurricane Matthew - and climate change are having a devastating impact on the city and the 4 billion people living today. According to a new report, by 2030, if there is no significant investment in providing greater flexibility to cities, natural disasters could cost the world a total of $314 billion annually, up from the current $250 billion, and climate change could lead to 77 million.
